Double Deuce Outfitters offers exclusive guided and self guided hunts on private Montana hunting ranches and hunting land. We specialize in rifle and archery/bow hunts for trophy mule deer, whitetail, antelope, upland birds and waterfowl on the Yellowstone River in Southeastern Montana. Our other hunts include pheasant, grouse, turkey, huns, coyote, varmint and goose hunting. Montana trophy hunting at its finest!
We offer a wide range of hunting opportunities throughout southeastern Montana, including guided and self-guided hunts for mule deer, whitetail, and antelope. In addition to big game, we also provide upland bird and waterfowl hunts, giving hunters the chance to experience multiple types of hunting in one location.

Hello my name is Terry Patterson. I am the owner, outfitter and founder of Double Deuce Outfitters. As a fourth generation cattle rancher, and having been in the hunting business since 1988, I know most of the in’s and out’s of providing you, the hunter, with a quality hunting experience you are not likely to forget and will look back on as a fond memory for many years to come.
My ranch, my camps, and my hunting leases are all in the area where I was born and raised. With a lifetime of hunting experience, I believe I have an edge in providing you with a truly exceptional hunt. My leases are all privately owned ranches consisting of tens of thousands of acres that provide some of the finest hunting southeastern Montana has to offer. Here you will find some of the highest concentrations of trophy mule deer, whitetail, and antelope found anywhere. Not to mention a wide variety of upland birds and goose hunting that’s second to none.
You can plan on having an exclusive hunt on thousands of acres, ranging from the higher country of rolling hills, thick pockets of Ponderosa pine and brush to the river bottoms of the Yellowstone River. We are located an hour and half east of a major airport in Billings and 15 miles south of interstate 94.
No matter your age, abilities, or the type of hunt you want (for example: fully guided hunt with meals provided or an unguided do it yourself (DIY) type hunt), we will cater to your needs to give you the best chance possible at the hunt of a lifetime.
